Hallo! I'm Heather, a research-driven illustrator and creative. I attended Leeds Arts University, graduating with a First in BA Hons Illustration in 2021.

My work explores socio-political and environmental contexts by examining multiple perspectives and angles. My aim is to combine these perspectives, personal experiences and research into a body of work that is layered, unexpected, and fun (at least, so I hope!)

Primary influences of my work include feminist and LGBTQIA+ theory, news, pop culture, small press, mythology, authorial storytelling, and archives. 

​

I respond to both physical and theoretical environments, and enjoy working with different media to best record and translate these.

​

My great loves are books, hiking, character design and too-bright trousers. Basically I'm a huge nerd!
